How I work

What happens first?

I will call you for an initial chat on the phone. I will ask you a series of questions and respond to your queries. This initial chat will enable us to determine whether I might be able to help you. If you decide to proceed we will agree what it is that you would like to work on and plan a date for us to meet.

Where will my coaching sessions take place?

 

I offer telephone and face to face coaching sessions.

 

I also offer walking and talking coaching, in and around the beautiful green spaces of Glastonbury, Somerset, England.

I am also willing to meet at local cafes, that have suitable spaces. 

What will happen during my coaching sessions?

During your first session I will spend time getting to know you and will ask you to let me know what it is that you would like help with. At the end of our first session we will create and outline plan of the areas that we will work on together, including when an where we will meet. 

​During our planned sessions I will focus on what is important to you and what you would like to achieve, this could be a personal or professional goal.

 

I will encourage you to explore and reflect on your thoughts and ideas. I use a range of techniques and processes that can help you to do this. These techniques can help you to make desired changes and achieve what you want from life. 

 

I will provide friendly, supportive guidance throughout, coaching you to find your own solutions, identify goals that are right for you and create a plan of action.

 

Most people will achieve a good result with approximately 3 to 4 sessions.

Principles

As a coach I am guided by the following principles:

  • Listening is more important than talking.

  • Everyone perceives the world in different ways.

  • It is important that I understand exactly what it is that you wish to achieve or change.

  • Your past does not equal your future.

  • Your beliefs are the only thing that can hold you back.

  • I can help you to find answers.

  • I will not criticise or judge.

  • My sessions are completely confidential.

  • Some needs cannot be met by coaching and I will inform you if this is the case.
